The esports scene is pretty exciting! There are so many fun and popular games out there, and gamers always strive to enjoy their favorite games cooperatively and competitively together. There are many opportunities for fans to arrange special events, from conventions to tournaments. Back in the end of March was held the largest esports event in upstate New York. It was the Hudson Valley Gamer Con!

Over one thousand gamers from upstate colleges and universities came together at the Albany Capital Center, a fantastic exhibit space capable of holding up to 5,000 people. Everyone got to compete in three competitive game, being Fortnite, League of Legends, and Overwatch. A grand total of $152K was used to fund the event and to help other plans for economic growth.

We aren’t part of the competitive gaming scene. However, we were able to support the HV Gamer Con by be performing our usual delivery services for the tournament. The Hudson Valley Gamer Con’s eSports tournament was a fantastic opportunity to have fun playing video games together! And having the chance to celebrate the best of the best in some of the greatest games around. We’ll be on the lookout for more eSport events and conventions in the future, as it was great being able to service this one last month!
